Brief History

1988	- Merrywater AG is formed and Incorporated in Zürich, Switzerland
1989	Certificate of Compliance for a Branch Office in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania is obtained and Merrywater Ltd starts operating in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Water Treatment is the core business; introduction of Merrywater Plant.Agencies for Katadyn AG of Switzerland and Grünbeck GmbH of Germany are in place
1992	Sale, Installation and Service of Diesel Generators is added to the scope of services
1993	Merrywater becomes agents for ITT-Lowara and Vogel Pumps, Victorinox and BWK
1994	Office is moved from city centre to present premises along Bagamoyo Road. New Agencies for ProMinent and ProMaqua Dosing Pumps, Chemical Treatment, Reverse Osmosis and general Water Treatment are established
1995	Merrywater is appointed distributor of FG Wilson Generators
1999	Merrywater Ltd. is 10 years in Tanzania; employs 35 people
2000	Hydranautics, Wessamat, BK Giulini and So-Safe become part of our product portfolio
2001	More custom made water treatment plants are produced in Tanzania and introduced to the market
2009	Merrywater Ltd. is now growing since 9 years in a row and celebrates 20 years in Tanzania; employs 55 people
