Coca-Cola Desalination Plant – Dar-es-Salaam (Tanzania)

Supplied and installed in 1999.
Reverse Osmosis Plant: 2 x ProMinent Reverse Osmosis Plants PRO12,5.23.8040-SWC1. The plant is able to desalinate brackish water (5000 ppm) up to high saline sea water (35 000 ppm). A special turbo pump allows recovering up to 30 kW from the concentrate’s residual pressure.
Pre-Treatment: 3 x Sand Filter and Activated Carbon Filter max. flow of 34 m³/h with pneumatic backwash facility.
Chemical Conditioning: ProMinent Dosing Group, metering pump Gamma G/4b.
